JAMMU, July 25: Dogra Swabhimaan Sangathan Party (DSSP) kick started its campaign for Jammu separate State, here today.
The DSSP Central team, under the leadership of Ch Lal Singh visited Udhampur and held detailed discussion with the party office bearers to intensify its campaign for Jammu State.
While addressing the gathering, Ch Lal Singh said that the people of Jammu province have suffered more under the present regime. It is very unfortunate that the people of Jammu province gave massive support to the present ruling party both in the State and the Center but this party has betrayed the people of Jammu province and didn’t bother even to invite the people of Jammu in the recent meeting taken by the PM of India.
He further said that the present Delimitation Commission is nothing but merely an eye wash as the rider of increasing only 7 seats on the basis of 2011 census is illogical and a bigger game plan to hoodwink the gullible people of Jammu. Ch Lal Singh further appealed and reiterated that delimitation should be held after a fresh census which is already due in 2021. If the delimitation commission will not be able to do justice now, then the suffering of the Jammu will continue like this only, he added.
Dr Hari Dutt Shishu, General Secretary DSSP, while speaking on the occasion, said that the organization shall be geared up and the message of DSSP shall be taken to every nook and corner.
Those in the meeting, included Prof H R Sharma, Advocate Vikrant, Balbir Singh Azad, J R Sharma, Vice president Bhupinder Singh, S Daljeet Singh, Adv Sanjeet Biboria, Kamboj, Ripu and Parambir Singh.
