IIM Jammu signs MoU with DHBW of Germany

JAMMU, July 27: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu, and Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg (DHBW) Loerrach, Germany have signed an agreement for academic exchange and research collaborations.
Both the institutions have agreed to initiate the academic exchange and mobility for students and faculty members and explore avenues for research collaborations.
The senior representatives of both the institutions, Prof B S Sahay, Director IIM Jammu and Prof Arnold van Zyl, President DHBW and Dr Theodor Karl Sproll, Rector DHBW Loerrach, signed off the agreement.
The agreement paves a roadmap for both institutions to partner in strategic initiatives, academics, research, and executive education and builds synergies. DHBW Loerrach offers a unique blend of industry practice phases and workplace training along with classroom learning. The strategic models of engagement have been identified to form the basis of the association. They will focus on student exchange for the MBA Programme and the 5-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) with faculty exchanges and doctoral research scholar exchange between the partners. The faculty members at both institutions will also partner for research collaborations and joint research projects.
The partnership provides cross-cultural linkages for the stakeholders of both institutions aiding in the propagation of ideas. The partnership will provide an opportunity to collaborate with world-class faculties and researchers and expand global research.
