JAMMU, June 28: In an application filed by Anil Kumar Sharma, son of Kapil Muni of Trikuta Nagar, who was illegally confined in the Gandhi Nagar Police Station for three days, Municipal Magistrate has directed SSP Jammu to register FIR against the then SHO Gurmeet Singh.
The Municipal Magistrate has also directed the SSP to investigate the matter in accordance with scheme of CrPC and law laid down by the Apex Court. The Court also fixed July 3, 2013 as date for hearing contempt petition initiated against Incharge SSP (SP South).
