JAMMU, June 28: The management of Dulhasti Power Station of NHPC Limited has cautioned general public of Kishtwar, Doda and Ramban districts not to move near River Chenab for two days, as the gates of Dulhasti Power Station Dam will be opened for periodical reservoir flushing.
From 10 am tomorrow to 8 pm the next day, the water level may rise temporarily, so the management of the Power Station has advised public residing near River Chenab downstream areas to refrain themselves, their cattle, trucks and tippers from moving near the banks of River to avoid any mishappening.
Anybody violating the request will do so at his own risk and responsibility and NHPC or Dulhasti Power Station management will not be responsible for the consequences thereof.
