JAMMU, June 28: Jammu State Morcha (JSM) criticized the Government for its discriminatory attitude towards the people of the Jammu region.
Addressing a public meeting at Marh, Prof Virender Gupta said that the Jammu region has been neglected in all spheres. He added that Congress has failed to fulfill any of the promises made to the people.
He blamed the Kashmiri leadership for not allowing people of Jammu region to have their due representation in political structure, in allocation of development funds and in employment.
He asked the people not to be misled by the slogans of greater autonomy or self rule as both lead to separation of the State from rest of the country.
Among others who addressed the gathering were Chandra Uday Sharma, Divender Singh Jamwal, Vishav Bhandu Gupta, Surjeet Singh, general secretary, JSM and organizer of the meeting.
