BUDGAM 28: Minister for Finance and Ladakh Affairs Ab. Rahim Rather accompanied by the District Development Commissioner Budgam, Khurshid Ah. Shah today visited Tilsara village in Chadoora Tehsil where a baby namely Wasiqa D/o Mushtaq Ahmad Hurra died the other day allegedly due to adverse effect following Liquid Pentavalent Vaccine immunization.
They went to the residence of the deceased and conveyed their heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family.
While condoling demise of the child, Mr. Rather assured the gathering of people, who had assembled there, that the DC Budgam will conduct a through and time bound inquiry into the unfortunate incident so that the defaulters, if any are dealt with under law.
Mr. Rather also assured the people that the existing medical facilities in the local primary health centre will be further upgraded to provide best possible treatment to the people.
