Retirees accorded warm send off

JAMMU, July 31: Shiv Kumar Gupta, Assistant Executive Engineer retried today after attaining the age of superannuation from Town Planning Organization, Jammu after serving the State for more than 36 years. He worked in different capacity in different departments of J&K. Town Planning Organization, Jammu gave an emotional farewell to the officer and wished for him energetic post retirement life.
Jammu Police hosted an impressive farewell function in District Police Line Jammu to bid adieu to the retiring police officials namely SI Chander Kant, ASI Manjeet Singh, ASI Som Nath, SgCt Pawan Kumar and VDC SPO Prem Nath who superannuated from their active services. The send-off function was chaired by SSP Jammu Chandan Kohli, who was flanked by SP Headquarters Ramnish Gupta and Deputy SP DAR K D Bhagat. The SSP and other senior officers wished the retirees good health and long life.
District Police Samba accorded warm send-off to Inspector (M) Satpaul Singh who attained superannuation after rendering about 35 years of dedicated services in the Police Department. A simple but impressive function was organized at Conference Hall DPO Samba by the staff members to bid farewell to their colleague. SSP Samba in his message wished the retiree a happy and healthy post-retirement life.
Two police personnel of Police Academy Udhampur namely Sub Inspector Inderpaul Singh and Follower Prem Chand retired today after attaining superannuation. In this regard, a function was organized at the Academy to bid farewell to the retiring officials. Speaking on the occasion, Dr SD Singh Jamwal (ADGP), Director SKPA Udhampur, lauded the role of retiring officials and wished them good health and prosperous life post retirement. Raj Paul Singh, Ex-MoS Uttarakhand Government, who happens to be a close relative of SI Inderpaul Singh, was the prominent guest on the occasion.
Veena Sidha, Section Officer of Chief Accounts Officer, District Fund Office, Muthi (Jammu), was given a warm farewell by her colleagues on her retirement from the service. She rendered 39 years of service in the Department. All her colleagues wished her happy and prosperous post retirement life.
