DODA, July 31: Forest Department has retrieved 8 kanals of forest land in Bhellessa Range from the encroachers in the forest division Bhaderwah.
The area got evicted from encroachers by removing the structures.
The encroachment was removed by the Forest team headed by Range Officer Bhellessa Suresh Singh Jamwal.
Meanwhile, the sleuths of Forest Department conducted raid in Trankal forest area in Compartment 9 of Jai in Forest Range Chirlla and seized four mechanical wood cutter machines.
Range Officer Chiralla Ifkthar Bathi confirmed the seizure of wood cutter machines. He added that the action will be taken against the persons involved.
The operations were carried out under the supervision of Divisional Forest Officer Bhaderwah Chander Shekhar and CF Conservator Forest Chenab Circle Satpal Pakru.
