FMPHWA stresses for conducting DPC meet

JAMMU, Aug 2: Jammu Kashmir Female Multipurpose Health Workers Association (FMPHWA), Jammu today demanded the higher authorities of the Health and Medical Education Department to hold meeting of the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC).
Addressing a press conference, at the office of Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation (JKMEF) in Directorate of Health Services Complex, Jammu, Neelam Kumari (president FMPHWA) stressed for promotion of Female Multipurpose Health Workers. She said that promotions of all categories of employees are pending and has not been done for last nine years.
“Despite clear instructions from Government, the Director Health Services Jammu has failed to conduct DPC of employees and not paying any attention to the demands of pending DPC of all categories of health employees,” she said. She condemned the dilly dallying tactics adopted by the Director Health and demanded action against those deliberately delaying departmental promotions.
Neelam said that FMPHWA has decided to fully support Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation call of one day protest dharna at all districts headquarters on different dates and finally one day Jammu chalo programme in front of Directorate of Health Services Complex, Jammu on 24-08-2021.
She appealed all Female Multipurpose Health Workers of Jammu division to participate in dharna with full strength and urged to the higher authorities to conduct the DPC immediately.
Others present in the press conference were Suriya Akhter (senior vice president, FMPHWA), Anita Bhagat (vice president), Sapna Gupta (general secretary) and Meenakshi Devi.
