JAMMU, Aug 3: Jammu and Kashmir Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) has expressed solidarity to Kashmiri Pandit community in their pain and sufferings for last more than three decades . Chief spokesperson of Jammu Kashmir BJP, Sunil Sethi said that party stands with community in their struggles at all times and is committed to resolution of issues facing migrants to their satisfaction and understanding
He said that it should be clear to all that KP community has suffered immensely at the hands of Pakistan sponsored terrorism and had to leave their homes and belongings and forced to live life of internally displaced persons in really harsh and pitiable conditions. They have been forced to live like destitutes and infant that is just tip of iceberg as the amount of sufferings they have undergone can’t be explained in words
Sunil Sethi added that heart of every Kashmiri Pandit yearn to be back to his roots and to resettle in Kashmir to get reconnected to their culture and final solution to their problems will be their honorable return to Valley to once again live with honor and dignity
Sethi asserted that Kashmir without Kashmiri Pandits is incomplete as they are the original residents and owner of rich Kashmiri culture and bearer of legacy of saints and Rishis who have taught lesson of peaceful living and coexistence to world and also shown spiritual path to people all around world.
BJP chief spokesperson further added that Modi Govt is committed to return of Kashmiri Pandits to their roots and understands that they may be out of Kashmir because of compulsions but their yearing is always to be back to Valley and Government is working on the ways for honorable resettlement of the community in Valley as per their wishes.
