Senior BJP leader dies due to cardiac arrest

Srinagar, Aug 2: Senior Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) leader D. K. Nehru today died due to massive cardiac arrest in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Officials said that Nehru suffered a massive cardiac arrest when he was at his home in village Panzla Rafiabad in Baramulla yesterday evening.
He was immediately rushed to District Hospital Baramulla and from there he was referred to Srinagar.
Upon reaching SKIMS, Soura in a critical condition, Nehru breathed his last on Tuesday morning. He was 55 and is survived by his wife, son and daughter.
In this regard, the BJP’s state unit has condoled the demise of its senior leader terming his death an irreparable loss.
