Srinagar, Aug 3: Crime Branch Kashmir today carried out searches at various locations across Kashmir in connection with a case registered against eight doctors of Ayush Association.
The Crime Branch Kashmir had registered the case (FIR No. 34/2021) against eight doctors following a written complaint against them for running Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha & Homeopathy (AYUSH) Doctors Association in which extortion was alleged.
The searches were carried out at the residence of Association members at various places.
Earlier the doctors of the Association had challenged the registration of FIR and Court directed the CB to go ahead with the investigations of the case but can’t file chargesheet before presenting it to the High Court.
