DC Reasi visits Bhomag, inspects development works

REASI, Aug 4: Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Charandeep Singh today conducted an extensive tour of the Sujandar area of block Bhomag and listened to people’s issues at public grievances redress camp.
The camp was attended by a large number of people of adjoining areas, BDC chairperson Ashok Singh, Sarpanch and panches, besides  Additional Commissioner Development, Anirudh Rai, Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Dr Rajeev Sharma, Chief Horticulture Officer, Brij Vallabh Gupta; CAO Sudhir Singh, DSWO Dr Gulshan Kumar ,A.D Tourism Ambika Bali ,Bdo Bhomag V.P Singh ,Tehsildar Reasi  Munshi Ram, Executive Engineers of JPDCL, Jal Shakti, PWD Janak Raj,PMGSY besides
At the outset, the DC interacted with the PRIs and locals and listened to their grievances and directed the concerned officers to ensure timely redress of genuine issues.
The PRIs and  public put forth their demands seeking improved road connectivity especially from Salal to Sujandhar, Sujhandar to Nagdevta, road connectivity from Tamasgali to Kothroo, separate education zone for Bhomag, Health facilities, up gradation of Jal Shakti and power infrastructure, early completion of Grid station  at Sujandhar, opening of bank branch at Sujandhar, rationalization of medical staff, adequate staff in schools, development of water bodies and other issues of public concern.
The DC issued on the spot directions to the concerned departments for early redress of the projected issues. He assured the PRIs, Public that all the genuine demands would be met on priority.
He also took thorough review of the progress of work on various road related works   and directed the concerned authorities for their timely completion.
Responding to the water related issues, the DC directed the concerned department for timely completion of work under JJM schemes including   Pangandevta lift irrigation Project He further directed the Rural Development Department to focus on development of water bodies with active participation of PRIs.
The DC said that the area has a huge tourism potential and stresses on  exploring tourism through activities like building of trekking routes at Pangandevta, Sujandhar to Moongri ,promotion of Nagdevta Mela, Parikrama of Trikuta hills through Toot village including  promotion of cultural tourism and directed the tourism department to submit proposals for the same.
Responding to the electricity related issues ,DC directed the concerned authorities to speed up the execution of work including timely completion of Sujandhar Grid station including clearing of pending Saubhagaya Payments .
