Srinagar, Aug 4: The Department of Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) today sealed two Boutiques in Srinagar for overcharging and for violating the norms, while as the District Administration sealed 4 shops for not possessing the necessary documents
In this regard, officials of the FCS&CA said that two Boutiques situated in Lal Chowk were closed down for charging excess rates and for not displaying the necessary rate list.
The establishments that have been sealed are Mumbai Boutique, Abi Guzar Bund and Zakir Boutique at the Lambert Lane.
On the other side, 4 more shops were sealed by the district administration of Srinagar after they failed to produce the documents.
Officials said that a team of the Revenue department headed by Sub District Magistrate Srinagar conducted a market checking to ascertain the implementation of COVID guidelines in the city centre.
During the drive, four shops were sealed which included Right Way shoe shop, Samsung Time Zone, Madras Cloth house and Diplaz ice cream parlour.
