15 bovine animals rescued, 3 arrested

JAMMU, Aug 5: Nagrota, Jhajjar Kotli and Akhnoor Police rescued 15 bovine animals and arrested three persons.
As per police sources, on reliable information, teams from Police Station Nagrota led by SHO Inspector Mohammad Shoket, Police Station Jhajjar Kotli led by SHO Inspector Devinder Singh and Police Station Akhnoor led by SHO Inspector Hilal Azhar laid check points in their respective jurisdictions and intercepted four vehicles.
During checking, police teams rescued 15 bovine animals from the vehicles and arrested three persons, who were identified as Sukdev Singh, son of Bahadur Chand of RS Pura District Jammu, Sunil, son of Ashok Kumar of Mohalla Kala Khan District Poonch and Shail Singh, son of Sardar Singh of Kalakote District Rajouri.
Cases under relevant Sections have been registered at Police Stations Nagrota, Jhajjar Kotli and Akhnoor and investigation started.
