Govt not resolving issues of people: Manhas

JAMMU, Aug 6: Senior Congress leader Advocate Maheshwar Singh Manhas has criticized the Union Territory Government for not resolving the issues of the people.
Manhas visited different villages of Bhalwal block of Raipur-Domana constituency and listened to the problems of people including electricity fluctuation, shortage of drinking water, dilapidated conditions of the roads and rising prices of the essential commodities which has badly affected the common masses.
At KalaKam (Kot), the people apprised the leader that the Government is not addressing their grievances.
Manhas said that the popular democratic Government can only come to the expectations of the people by mitigating their sufferings.
He further said that BJP has miserably failed in providing job opportunities to the unemployed youth and stressed the Central Government to restore the statehood status without any delay which will remove the mistrust prevailing among the people of J&K.
Among others present were Sewa Ram, Devinder Khajuria, Gopal Das, Subhash Chander (Panch), Kailash Bhagat, Fayaz Ahmed, Sheru Ram, Ajay Deep Singh Jamwal, Rampaul, etc.
