Lady arrested with lahan, missing girl reunited with family

JAMMU, Aug 6: Bishnah Police arrested a lady along with 15 litres of lahan, whereas Arnia Police reunited a missing girl with her family.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Station Bishnah led by SHO Inspector Joginder Singh under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Shabir Khan conducted raid and apprehended a lady along with 15 litres of lahan.
The arrested lady was identified as Rani Devi, wife of Kamal Dass, a resident of Chak Murar Tehsil Bishnah, District Jammu.
A case FIR Number 130/2021 under Section 48 A Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Bishnah and investigation started.
Meanwhile, on July 17 this year, a complaint was lodged at Police Station Arnia by a man stating that his daughter had gone missing.
Acting over the complaint, a missing report was entered into the daily dairy of Police Station Arnia and hunt was launched to recover the missing girl.
During the course of investigation, a team from Police Station Arnia led by SHO Inspector Harjeet Singh under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Shabir Khan connected the various leads, did hectic efforts and with the support of technical assistance finally recovered the missing girl.
The girl was finally handed over to her family after completing all the medico-legal formalities and missing report was closed accordingly.
