JAMMU, Aug 6: Thieves decamped with gold ornaments and cash from a house in New Plot area.
As per police sources, thieves entered into the house of a man namely Vijay Kumar at Ward Number 16 New Plot and decamped with around 4 tolas gold ornaments and cash.
A complaint in this regard was lodged by Vijay Kumar with Police Post Sarwal.
Acting over the complaint, a case under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Bakshi Nagar and hunt has been launched to nab the thieves.
Meanwhile, Sunil Dimple President Jammu West Assembly Movement and Mission Statehood has expressed concern over the rising cases of thefts in Jammu. He demanded day and night patrolling in Jammu viz arrest of thieves.
