Mega medical camp organized

An Army doctor rendering service to the needy patients at a medical camp.

JAMMU, June 30:   A mega medical camp was organized at Dudi village for the people of Dudi, Machhal, T-Sunt and far flung areas of Machhal bowl.
The camp was joint effort of civil administration and Army to provide the health care to needy people at their doorstep, as this part of the Kashmir valley remains cut of from the main stream for more than six months.
The medical camp was inaugurated by two girls of Dudi village. A team of civil and Army doctors spent quality time in medical checkup and free medicines were provided to the patients.
Facilities like ECG, vaccination and laboratory tests were also provided to the locals free of cost. Transport had been arranged for patients from far flung villages to reach the site of the camp.
Around 655 persons include 310 males, 215 females and 130 children were examined by the doctors during the camp.
