JAMMU, Aug 8: Nagrota Police arrested a man along with large quantity of illicit liquor.
As per police sources, during patrolling a team from Police Station Nagrota led by SHO Inspector Mohammad Shoket intercepted a pedestrian, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered 50 quarters and 4 bottles of illicit liquor from the possession of the pedestrian and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Sanjay Kumar, son of Ashok Kumar, a resident of District Reasi.
A case FIR Number 345/2021 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Nagrota and investigation started.
