Shiv Prakash inaugurates BJP’s training workshop of National Health Volunteers

JAMMU, Aug 9: National joint general secretary (Organization), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Shiv Prakash addressed the one-day training workshop of district teams of National Health Volunteers at BJP headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, here, today.
J&K BJP president, Ravinder Raina, general secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul and general secretary, Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal addressed the workshop along with expert doctors who trained the health volunteers regarding awareness of COVID-19, early detection of COVID positive cases, isolation, quarantine of patients and management at hospital level.
Workshop was organized under the observation of J&K Incharge of National Health Volunteers campaign, Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal who was assisted by co-incharges J&K BJP secretary, Arvind Gupta, BJP All Morcha Incharge, Munish Sharma and BJP IT head Ishant Gupta.
Shiv Prakash, while discussing the national health volunteers campaign asked the district team members to form and hold the similar training workshops at Mandal level. He said that 21,000 health volunteers will be trained from J&K from 10500 booths for the management of probable third wave of COVID-19. The teams will be formed at district level, at Mandal level and at booth level for effectively countering the COVID-19 wave, he added.
He said that BJP is not only a political party but it is a way of life to serve the nation and society and in present time it is prime duty of every worker to contribute in serving the society in the management of COVID-19 infection. He also talked of the effective COVID management by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi Government.
Ravinder Raina president J&K BJP, said that his party has initiated National Health Volunteers Campaign. He said that lakhs of BJP volunteers served the nation and society in first and second waves in all possible ways in terms of blood donation camps, food items, daily use items and other needful things. Now when there is possible third wave, BJP has already started preparation to tackle it.
Ashok Kaul provided insight about the organizational support provided to the National Health Volunteers in the whole campaign. He guided them about the formation of effective Mandal teams and effective booth teams for the better management of probable third wave at grass root level.
Dr. Manyal earlier provided a detailed introduction about the National Health Volunteers Campaign.
Medical technicalities about the COVID Management were discussed by the medical experts.
Dr. Krishan Lal spoke on COVID appropriate behaviour and precautions and preventions from the viral infection. Dr. Sunil Sharma (retired Physician) gave detailed presentation about all the issues concerning COVID infection.
