KATHUA, Aug 9: Mother and son duo was killed and six other were seriously injured in a road accident at Rajbagh road of Kathua district today. The accident took place when a car bearing Registration Number JK02BG 1929 and a Scorpio having Registration Number JK02BM 6060 collided head on at village Karandi under jurisdiction of Rajbagh Police Station. The collision was so powerful that two car passengers’ mother and son duo was killed on spot.
A police team led by SHO, Rajbagh, Bupinder Singh immediately rushed to spot and shifted the all injured persons to GMC Kathua. Where doctors declared two persons as brought dead and six others seriously injured. The injured are under treatment in GMC Kathua.
The deceased passenger travelling in car were indentified as mother Kamlesh Kumari, wife of Parkesh Chand and her son Darshan Kumar. The seriously injured are identified as Sarishta Kumari wife of Darshan Singh ,Sonali Darshan Singh , Janvi Randhawa , Manvi Randhawa, daughter of Pawan Kumar, Numirat Chaudhary, Sonakashi Choudhary daughters of Darshan Singh resident of Sanji Morh , Hiranagar. Police has registered a case and started investigation into the matter.
