SSP reviews traffic scenario in Jammu City

JAMMU, Aug 13: SSP Traffic Police City Jammu, Dr Koshal Kumar Sharma convened a meeting to review the traffic scenario in Jammu City and discuss the measures to streamline traffic movements ahead of 75th Independence Day.
Pardeep Singh Gouria Additional SP Traffic, Neeraj Padyar DySP (T) City Rural, Shivali Kotwal (T) City North, Sunil Singh DySP (T) City South, Javed Naaz DySP (T) City Jammu and all DTIs Inspector Suhail Ahmad, Inspector Ravinder Singh, Inspector Khushwant Singh, Inspector Satvinder Singh, Inspector Bhattu Choudhary, Inspector Rakesh Kumar, Inspector Anayat Hussain, Inspector Opinder Singh, Inspector Satvir Singh, Inspector Atul Singh, Inspector Vishal Sharma, Inspector Rattan Lal, Inspector Sunil Singh, besides other concerned officers were present in the meeting.
Ahead of Independence Day celebrations, Traffic Police Jammu have made massive traffic arrangements in the Jammu city, especially at MA Stadium, from where VVIP will address, said SSP Dr Koshal Sharma.
He stressed on better synergy between the concerned agencies to ensure better traffic movement and avoid congestion.
The Traffic Police have also laid down a blueprint to divert the vehicles on August 15. Only those vehicles with a valid pass issued by the administration will be permitted to park around the MA Stadium area on Independence Day, informed SSP Traffic Jammu.
