JAMMU, Aug 13: Sarwal Police arrested two persons along with 120 rolls of banned synthetic string.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Post Sarwal led by SI Yougal Kishore and assisted by PSI Satjeet Singh conducted raids in shops and recovered 120 rolls of banned synthetic thread.
The arrested persons were identified as Raman Mehra, son of Hari Krishan of Janipur and Arjun Tayagi, son of Ashok Kumar of Janipur Colony.
It is pertinent to mention here that District Magistrate Jammu has banned the sale of synthetic and nylon threads.
A case under FIR Number relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Bakshi Nagar and investigation started.
Further investigation of the cases is going on.
The overall arrest and recoveries were made under the supervision of SDPO West Rahul Nagar and SP City Mohita Sharma.
