JAMMU, Aug 13: Eight persons received burn injuries due to mysterious explosion in a factory on the name and title M/s Bombay Paint Factory at Gangyal here today, police source said.
The injured were identified as Ravi Shanker, son of Mithai Lal, Kali Dass, son of Chuni Lal, Ganesh Bhadur, son of Juthwal Bhadur, Sunita, wife of Ganesh Bahadur, Arjun Thakur, son of Muni Lal Thakur, Kishori Thakur, son of Ram Krishan Thakur and Krishan Bhadur, son of Bal Bhadur, all presently residing in Gangyal and Paviter Mahajan, son of Vishal Gupta of Adarsh Enclave Trikuta Nagar District Jammu.
All the injured have been shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where they were undergoing treatment, when last reports came in.
A case FIR Number 130/2021 under Sections 336 and 337 IPC has been registered at Police Station Gangyal and investigation started.
