JAMMU, Aug 13: A man was killed when he rammed his car into a truck by going wrong side of the road near Seva Complex Gangyal, police sources said.
The deceased was identified as Goutam Shaminotra, son of Bhagwati Sharan, a resident of Ward Number 30, Talab Tillo District Jammu. He received serious injuries in the accident and was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMHC), where he failed to respond to the treatment and succumbed to his injuries.
After conducting post-mortem, the body of the deceased has been handed over to family members for last rites.
A case FIR Number 129/2021 under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Gangyal and investigation started.
