JAMMU, Aug 14: Different educational institutions here today celebrated pre-Independence Day.
Government Degree College (GDC) Katra organized a function to celebrate pre-Independence Day. In this connection National Anthem recitation programme was organized after which Dr. C.K Khajuria, Principal of the College asked the students and staff to follow the path of nationalism.
GDC Akhnoor celebrated Independence Day by organizing the event ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ which included poster making and slogan writing.
In ongoing weeklong celebrations as a prelude to 75th Independence Day, RMPS today celebrated pre Independence Day and the school was decorated with colours of National Flag. Sunil Singh, Dy. S.P (Traffic) was the chief guest on this occasion and he hoisted the National Flag.
Mount Litera School Tarore celebrated 75th Independence Day with alliance partner Sanjeevani World School, Mumbai in virtual mode. The National Flag was hoisted by chief guests, Dr. A.K Kapoor Chairman MLSS School and P.B Kapoor, Managing Director, MLSS.
Stepping Stone School celebrated Independence Day and the students recited National Anthem on this occasion.
Shiksha Niketan Sr. Sec. School Jeevan Nagar celebrated Independence Day Week in school premises. Rekha Gupta, Assistant Account Officer at J&K State Power Development Corporation was the special guest on the occasion. The function started with Flag Hoisting.
Students and staff of Shri Mahavir Jain Hr. Sec. School Jammu celebrated 75th Independence Day with devotion and enthusiasm. Tricolour was unfurled by School vice president, Ramneek Jain who was the chief guest along with general secretary, Sunil Jain.
