JAMMU, Aug 18: For implementing and monitoring HIV/TB/Blood donation campaigns under New India @75 Concept in Jammu and Kashmir, the Union Territory Government today ordered constitution of a UT Level Committee.
Headed by Project Director, J&K AIDS Control Society (JKACS), the committee shall prepare UT/District level implementation plan and media plan for awareness regarding HIV, TV and blood donation.
It shall identify high prevalent district for flagging the HIV/TB/Blood donation, campaigns in phased manner. In high prevalent districts, it shall identify schools, colleges and organize orientation and fortnight meetings. The committee shall publicize and ensure coverage of the campaigns through AIR and Doordarshan/ other TV/Radio channels.
Director School Education Jammu/Kashmir, Director Colleges, Director Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, J&K and others are Members of this committee.
