KISHTWAR, July 2: In Government’s endeavour to motivate and drive educated youth towards setting up of their industrial units, Minister of State for Industries and Commerce, Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo laid the foundation stone of District Office SICOP.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister said that the Government is laying greater emphasis to provide all facilities to the educated youth of the State, so that they may start their own income generating units.
District Office SICOP will make all facilities of industrial raw material available to the local youth for setting up their units and also provide them help to market their products, he added.
He directed the officers connected with industries to give vast publicity about the schemes and incentives given by the Central Government as well as State Government, so that the youth will take the maximum benefits by establishing their own units. In this way they will not only be able to earn their livelihood but also provide employment to the other youth of the district in this hilly and backward district, Kichloo added.
On the scarcity of land at Industrial Estate Kishtwar, Minister directed Director Industries and Commerce Department JA Qureshi to identify the land for establishment of another industrial estate at Kishtwar.
