SAMBA, Aug 18: One person died in a road accident that took place this morning in Jatwal area of Samba on Jammu Pathankot National Highway. The accident took place when a truck bearing Registration Number JK05B-0243 collided with another truck bearing Number PB35Q-8769. The conductor of the one truck was injured and he was brought to the Samba District Hospital in an injured condition where he was declared dead by the doctor. The deceased was identified as Bilal Ahmed, 30, son of Abdul Karim resident of Sanapora, Kashmir. The body was handed over to his relatives after post-mortem. The police has registered a case in this regard and started further investigation.
