Delegations meet new RC, highlight demands

JAMMU, Aug 18: Today a delegation of BJP Kashmir Displaced District led by Chand Ji Bhat its president called on Ashok Kumar Pandita newly appointed Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner Jammu. The delegation comprised of Ajay Bharti Ex.MLC , H.K.Razdan general secretary, Shuban Pandit, vice president and Rakesh Sadhu social media incharge.
The delegation appraised the Commissioner about the various problems faced by the displaced community.
The delegation demanded enhancement of cash assistance in favour of migrant relief holders.
Further it was reiterated that pending cases of medical reimbursement in favour of displaced community members, need to be addressed at the earliest.
He was further appraised about the non issuance of Ayushman Bharat medical insurance cards in favour of displaced community members.
The delegation demanded upgradation of Sub District Hospital and cleaning of overhead water tanks at Jagti township.
The Relief Commissioner assured the delegation to solve all the problems faced by the displaced community members.
Earlier a delegation of All State Kashmiri Pandit Ekta Manch (ASKPEM) led by Chand Ji Khar its chairman and Ashok Kumar Koul president, Neel Naag Self Help Group (NNSHG) met the outgoing Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, T K Bhat and newly appointed RC, Ashok Kumar Pandit and discussed the problems of the displaced people with him. The delegation said that many drastic steps were taken by outgoing RRC in streamlining the functioning of the Relief Organisation and expressed the hope that the same will continue so that the problems of displaced people are eased.
The delegation said T K Bhat worked for the betterment of the community and mitigating their sufferings with dedication during his tenure especially in framing of domicile certificates.
The other members of the delegation were V K Pandita, vice president, Ekta Manch, Ravinder Singh its Executive Member, NNSHG and others.
