3-day Punjabi Food Festival begins at Hotel Ramada

JAMMU, Aug 19: Jammu city’s first of its kind Punjabi themed festival “Zaika Punjab Da” commenced today at The World Cuisine Restaurant, Ramada Jammu City Centre.
The Festival will be from 07:00 pm to 10:00 pm on each day till Sunday. Visitors to the Hotel can treat their taste buds to delectable and succulent vegetarian and non-vegetarian delicacies including Sarson Da Saag, Machi Tari Wali, Amritsari Aloo Wadiyan, Bathinda Wali Tangri among other mouth-watering combinations amidst the cool and vibrant atmosphere ambience at Ramada Jammu’s World Cuisine Restaurant located on the 2nd floor.
Siddhant Chowdhary, Managing Director, Ramada Jammu said, “Keeping up with our promise for innovation, we bring to you “Zaika Punjab Da”, a sensory experience of delectable, Punjabi meals where the focus is not just on the taste but most importantly on the presentation and the ambience and a Punjabi Themed photo booth with a touch of Punjabi and Bhangra music.”
He said the whole restaurant has been converted into a Punjabi themed restaurant and local stuff from Punjab has been procured as part of the serving dishes to give the guests the actual feel of the festival and the cuisine. “This time we have thought of combining the festival with Rakshabandhan as Raksha Bandhan is a family affair and Punjabi food is also best enjoyed together, the larger the gathering, the more the fun,” he added.
The MD said other offerings during the Festival include Tandoori Kukad, Arbi Til ki Tikki, Sarson Mahi Tikka, Patiyala Murgh, Amritsari Tali Hui Macchi, Besan Waale Laddoo, Rooh Di Kheer and Besan Abadan Di Burfi among other desserts to end the dinner. Zaika Punjab Da is a buffet based festival serving buffets from Rs 1000+ taxes along with other surprise inclusions.
