JAMMU, Aug 20: Government today ordered constitution of Departmental Promotion Committee for releasing non-functional grades under Career Advancement Scheme in the Higher Education Department.
The DPC, headed by Administrative Secretary, Higher Education Department, shall examine cases of eligible Assistant Professors for release of higher grades (Rs 7000 and Rs 8000) under Career Advancement Scheme, in terms of SRO-124 of 2014 in the Higher Education Department.
Director Finance, Higher Education Department; one representative each from GAD, ARI & Training Department, Law, Justice & Parliamentary Affairs (not below the rank of Additional Secretary) are Members of the DPC while Special Secretary/Additional Secretary, Higher Education Department is the Member Secretary.
