POONCH, Aug 20: An Army Jawan died after he accidently fell from a hill while patrolling in Hari Budha area under the jurisdiction of Police Station Mandi, here today.
The incident took place around 1500 hours when Army Jawan Luv Preet (23) of 16-RR, resident of Gurdaspur, Punjab, suddenly slipped from a height during patrolling and died on the spot.
Later, his dead body was brought to SDH Mandi for required legal formalities.
