JAMMU, Aug 20: The National Solar Energy Federation of India (NSEFI) honoured A K Singh, CMD, NHPC in recognition of his contribution to Indian solar sector growth on the occasion of Akshay Urja Diwas, today.
Singh has been recognized for his exemplary role in leading NHPC in the award, signing of Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) & Power Sale Agreement (PSA) and subsequent tariff adoption by CERC for 2000 MW Solar Power Projects awarded by NHPC as an Intermediary Procurer.
V K Maini, ED (Renewable Energy), NHPC and other senior officers from Renewable Energy Division, NHPC were also present on the occasion.
On the occasion, NSEFI discussed issues prevailing in RE sector and the future road map with respect to the role of NHPC.
