JAMMU, Aug 22: Two persons were booked by Jammu Bus Stand police for violating night curfew order of Deputy Commissioner Jammu.
“The accused have been identified as Mashinder Lal son of Shiv Ram of Barota (tehsil Bilawar, district Kathua) and Nazir Ahmed Kumar son of Ahmadullah Kumar of Acher Gandoh Bhalessa (district Doda),” a police official said.
He said Mashinder Lal is the owner of a Dhaba at Shops Number 20, 21 and 22 at U-Market, Bus Stand Jammu and he along with his worker Nazir was operating his Dhaba at about 3 am today, which is violation of DC Jammu order of night curfew due to COVID-19 pandemic vide Order Number 21/DCJ/2021 dated 12-07-2021.
“Hence, in compliance to the DC order, his Dhaba was seized U/S 188/IPC and a case FIR Number 56/2021 U/S 188/IPC registered against the both the accused persons in police station Bus Stand Jammu,” the official added.
