RCJ Midtown initiates project to make females self dependent

JAMMU, Aug 25: Rotary Club of Jammu (RCJ) Midtown donated two sewing machines, 200 meters cloth, paper and other necessary accessories to females of Sehora village for making cloth bags to make them self dependent, here today.
The project was initiated in Ward 32 of the village among economically weaker section of the society with an aim to make Sehora village a ‘happy village’ so that the females of the village can earn their livelihood with their hard work.
“Rotary Club of Jammu Midtown has adopted this village long back and we have promised to the people of the village that we will try our best to solve the problems of people living there,” Rtn Meenakshi Bhasin, president of the Club said.
Local Councillor of the Ward, Sat Paul Karlupia said that this project will boost the morale of housewife and girls by making cloth bags. He thanked the Club members for adopting this village of his Ward for this noble cause.
Rtn Chakshu Kapoor (secretary), Rtn Meena Jamwal (assistant governor), Rtn Swarna Jamwal, Rtn Sudha Kalra, Rtn Ravi Sharma and Rtn Prakash Kaur Jaggi were present during the event.
