KATHUA, Aug 27: DDC Chairman Kathua Col (Retd) Mahan Singh visited remote Panchayats at Salary in Mahanpur and resolved issues of the people on the spot after conducting a `Public Darbar’.
Addressing the public meeting at Salary, he said that BJP Government has accomplished so much by rendering selfless service in the last nearly 7 years which the earlier dispensations could not achieve in over 70 years. He said take the case of J&K, where Government has ensured equitable development with fair deal to both urban and rural segments with no discrimination at all.
Col Singh made it clear that it was BJP government’s policy that the unprecedented development has been carried out in the villages which is in no way less than the one which the cities are witnessing at the moment. He said that the entire administration is looking after the civic edifice and services in all the Panchayats irrespective of the fact that whether they are close to the District headquarters or far away.
Later, DDC Chairman listened to people’s issues and demands and directed the concerned officials accompanying him to resolve the same on the spot. People expressed gratitude after noticing the promptness of the DDC Chairman in resolving their issues.
DDC Chairman was accompanied by Bikram Singh Andotra, DDC Councilor Billawar, vice president BJP District Capt Harnam Singh, general secretary Gopal Krishan, Mandal secretary Shanti Bhushan, Mandal Pradhan Puran Chand, Capt Des Raj, Harisaran, secretary Sanjeet Sharma and Social Media Incharge Deep Sharma. The team also visited Sulad, Atheltha and Stoo and held deliberations with the locals and addressed the issues of the people on the spot.
