JAMMU, Aug 28: Providing best infrastructure facilities to the residents of Gandhi Nagar Constituency at their doorstep, BJP senior leader Baldev Singh Billawaria along with District president Vinay Kumar Gupta today started the construction work of lane and drain at Preet Nagar in Ward 45, here today.
He said that construction of the road was a long pending demand of the residents of the area and that demand has been fulfilled today.
While interacting with locals, Billawaria highlighted the major works taken up in the Ward. He said that after the demise of senior BJP leader and local Councillor Raj Rani, the pace of development work in the Ward had slowed down which is being given speed once again.
“The BJP is committed to fulfil the resolution taken by Councillor Raj Rani to make Ward 45 a modern Ward,” he said and assured that many other projects in the area would start soon and would be completed in a time bound manner.
Billawaria said that the prime motive of the BJP was to address the public problems on the ground. “The people have developed a faith in the present political dispensation due to the good governance by BJP,” he asserted.
Prominent persons including Bharat Bhushan, Sat Pal Chaudhary, Narendra Gupta, Puran Chand, Joginder Singh, Pawan Chib, Mohinder Kumar, Chuni Lal, Tilak Raj, Des Raj and Pawan Kumar were also present during the occasion.
