POONCH, Aug 28: The dead body of a tractor driver was recovered from Surankote area in district Poonch today.
The deceased has been identified as 22-year-old Imtiaz Hussain, son of Ashiq Hussain, resident of Sanei village in Surankote Sub Division. His body was noticed by a villager near Jarran Wali Gali this afternoon. He informed Surankorte police about the matter.
SHO Surankote rushed to the spot along with some cops and then after examining the body and the spot, shifted it to SDH Surankote for postmortem. The police started investigation under section 174 CrPC in this connection.
The family said that Imtiaz had left home during early morning for work and did not return for lunch even during the day. His phone was also not responding and they were worried for him. However, the police investigation was in progress.
