JAMMU, Aug 30: Border Security Force (BSF) today recovered around 10 kg of heroin from border area of Akhnoor.
“Today at about 1 pm, a patrolling team of BSF while conducting search operation near zero line found a suspected black colour bag hidden inside some bushes near zero line,” a spokesperson of BSF said, adding, 10 packets of heroin like substance weighing approximately 10 kg was recovered when the bag was opened.
N S Jamwal IG BSF Jammu informed the media that regular inputs of heroin smuggling were being received and troops were on vigil round the clock and this seizure is the result of their efforts.
