JAMMU, July 6: Congress is the only party which guarantees the unity and integrity of the nation.
This was stated by Former Deputy Chief Minister and senior Vice President, Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) Mangat Ram Sharma, during a meeting of party functionaries of Jammu West Constituency.
He said that Congress party has ruled the country most of the time after independence because of its policies and programs. It has been providing able and dynamic leadership to lead the country time to time.
Sharma further said that the Congress is strong in all three regions of the State but it needs to be further strengthened, keeping an eye on the coming Parliamentary and Assembly elections.
Accepting the demand of the party workers to fight next Assembly election from Jammu West, Sharma said that he had already nourished this constituency and is very keen to represent it again so that the remaining developmental works would be completed.
