Excelsior Correspondent JAMMU, July 6: J&K Branch of NIRC of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India organized a seminar on audit under J&K VAT Act, e-filing of Tax Audit Report under Income Tax Act and revised schedule VI under Companies Act. On the occasion, Parvez Iqbal Khateeb, Additional Commissioner (Adm), Commercial Taxes, was the chief guest, while PK Bhat, Deputy Commissioner (Appeals) Commercial Taxes, was also present. CA Deepak Bhulosaria, CA Shashi Gupta and CA Arun Kumar Gupta were the guest speakers, who while speaking, deliberated in detail and enlightened the members about the various important aspects related to the topic. The suggestions and issues relating to VAT Act and GST Act were highlighted to Parvaiz Iqbal Khateeb who assured redressal of all issues and full cooperation to the members on behalf of the Commercial Taxes Department. Earlier, Chairman J&K Branch of NIRC of ICAI, CA Dalip K Kaul presented the welcome address, whereas, in the end, CA Vikram Garg, Vice-Chairman presented vote of thanks. Secretary J&K Branch of ICAI, CA Anil Sharma conducted the proceedings of the seminar. CA Shalay Razdan, treasurer, CA Sandeep Pachnanda and CA Deepak Kapahi, members of the executive committee along with a large number of Chartered Accountants and students participated in the seminar.
