RAMBAN, Sept 3: A double storey residential house was damaged in fire in Karachihal area of Chambalwass in Tehsil Banihal today morning.
As per police sources, fire broke out in the double storey residential house of Abdul Rashid, son of Abdul Gani Naik in Karachihal area of Chambalwass in Tehsil Banihal.

On getting information, police team rushed to the spot and started operation to douse the flames. Fire tenders from Banihal Fire Station also reached the spot and doused the flames after hectic efforts, as the residential house was made of dry woods.
No injury or casualty has been reported in the incident, while the exact loss could not be ascertained yet.
Banihal Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
