JAMMU, Sept 3: Gangyal Police arrested three thieves along with stolen cash and other valuable items.
As per police sources, while investigation a theft case registered under FIR Number 125/2021 under Sections 457 and 380 IPC, a team from Police Station Gangyal led by PSI Amit Roshan was constituted.
The team analysed footages of CCTV cameras and finally arrested three thieves involved in the case.
The arrested persons were identified as Surjeet Singh, son of late Ranjot Singh of Preet Nagar, Digiana, Ankush Singh, son of Rattan Singh of Amritsar Punjab, at present Preet Nagar Digiana and Ajay Singh, son of Arvinder Singh of Amritsar Punjab, at present Preet nagar, Digiana.
On their disclosure, police team recovered stolen Rs 10,000 cash and other valuable items worth around Rs 20,000.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
The recoveries and arrest have been made under the supervision of SHO Gangyal Inspector Raghubir Singh Choudhary, SDPO South PK Mengi and SP South Jammu Deepak Digra.
