JAMMU, Sept 3: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) today presented its 76th Friday series musical concert in collaboration with Sangam Tru Art production on the theme ‘Feeding smart right from the start’ at Durga Bhawan near Disco More Janipur, here today.
The program was inaugurated by JK Raina, Freelancer Producer and Director, whereas VK Magotra, former Regional Director of Directorate of Field Publicity, GoI and Dr Tara Singh Charak, former Deputy Director, J&K Health Department were the guests of honour.
The songs of the musical concert which were presented today’s event, were written and directed by MLDogra, former Assistant Director of Song and Drama Division, Ministry of Information Broadcasting, GoI. The programme was commenced with song of ‘Dudh Maa Ka Hi Pilao’, followed by ‘Shapat Suposhan Lekare Humne Bna Liya Hai Man”, ‘Piya Hai Maa Ka Dudh to Aja” and “Goun Goun Aur Gali Gali Mai Shru Poshan Abhiyan Kare & dances were presented by artists which was composed by Mahesh Chander Kotwal, Music Director BLSKS.
Under the special campaign on ‘National Nutrition Week’, the team of BLSKS will present seven programmes at Blocks and villages level of Jammu District at Mathwar, Raipur, Seri Pandita, Aam Garota, Galali, Domana Bateda and Chandiya.
Earlier, the welcome speech was given by Dr ML Dogra, BLSKS chairman and he highlighted the importance of the ‘National Nutrition Week -2021’ with an exciting theme “Feeding bright right from the start.”
The musical concert was presented by artists including Usha Handoo, Zulekha Farid, Rajni Gupta, Chahat Chadha, Mukesh Arora, Sanjeev Kumar, Rajinder Saini, Sudesh Kumari, Sudesh Manhas, Tilak Raj, KK Joshi and Richu.
