JAMMU/SRINAGAR/ LEH, Sept 4: One person died of COVID-19 and 85 tested positive in Kashmir division today while 31 fresh cases were reported in Jammu region and three in the Union Territory of Ladakh.
Among 31 new COVID positive cases in the Jammu region, 14 were reported from Doda district, six Rajouri, five Jammu, three Kishtwar, two Ramban and one in Reasi district.
Poonch, Samba, Kathua and Udhampur districts didn’t report any fresh cases.
Twenty six persons today recovered from the virus.
Jammu region now has 1,23,112 Corona cases. Among them, 1,20,675 have recovered and there 271 active positives and 2166 casualties.
All three cases in the UT of Ladakh were reported from Leh district. The UT now has 70 active positives.
