AKHNOOR, July 7: The police seized two vehicles loaded with bovine animals at Chowki Chora on Jammu-Rajouri road last night and arrested 4 persons for smuggling bovines.
During naka at Chowki Chora, the police intercepted two Tata Mobile vehicles JK-02AG/8443 and JK-11/8813 and recovered 4 bovine animals loaded in them The police seized both the vehicles and arrested all the 4 occupants.
Those arrested were identified as Mohd Hanief, son of Mohd Shakoor, Mohd Tahir, son of Mohd Sharief of Rajouri, Mohd Latief, son of Sahib Din and Mohd Kabir, son of Munir Hussain of Barooti. A case FIR No. 150/ 13 was registered against them.
