JAMMU/SRINAGAR/ LEH, Sept 6: Eleven persons today tested positive for COVID-19 in Mahore town of Reasi district during random testing ordered by District Magistrate Reasi Charandeep Singh. As some of the positive persons had visited Jammu and Kashmir Bank branch in Mahore, the District Magistrate ordered its closure followed by contact tracing and sanitization. A total of 93 persons today tested positive for the virus in J&K including 73 in Kashmir and 20 in Jammu. Jammu region now has 242 active positive cases. The Union Territory of Ladakh today reported five fresh COVID positive cases, all in Leh district. Ladakh now has 57 active positive cases. No COVID deaths were reported in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh today.
