JAMMU, Sept 7: Akhnoor Police foiled bovines smuggling bid.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from Police Station Akhnoor led by SHO Inspector Hilal Azhar laid a naka and intercepted a vehicle.
During checking, police team rescued two bovine animals from the vehicle and arrested one person, who was identified as Shakti Kumar, a resident of District Reasi.
A case FIR Number 227/2021 under Sections 188 IPC and 11 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Akhnoor and investigation started.
